The ultimate fishing trip combines a multiday wilderness float with fine lodging. Possibly our most popular trip, our Expedition/Lodge Combo combines the adventure of deluxe camping and superior fly fishing in Patagonia’s backcountry with the luxury and culture of a private, 4-5 star lodge. On this trip, anglers will stay at the remote Estancia Tres Lagos for 4 nights/4.5 days and fish different stretches of the Filo Hua Hum River and its associated lakes. On Day 5, anglers will take a short drive down river to where the Meliquina and Filo Hua Hum Rivers join to form the Caleufu River. Here is where anglers will start their 2 night/3 day Wilderness Fishing Expedition. Late November to early January is prime time for this river system.
At the Estancia Tres Lagos you will target 17-19’ Brown Trout in crystal clear waters while returning each evening to a comfortable lodge, warm staff, incredible meals and cozy beds. On the Caleufu River float trip, our camp crew will handle all gear and chores, leaving you and your guide to concentrate solely on unveiling the Caleufu’s 5-12 pound secrets.
Gather your friends and join us in Patagonia for great early season Brown Trout fishing.
