At Parana Sunrise Lodge, phenomenal Golden Dorado fishing lies only a few steps from the lodge and millions of dove plague gain fields to the north and south. One day you will be casting to 5-15 pound Golden Dorado and the next you’ll be enjoying hot barrel, high volume dove hunting. Depending on conditions, you may fish in the morning and shoot in the afternoon. Other programs using two different lodges for Dorado and dove require long drives or extra flights and restrict you to only one sport at each lodge. Get convenience and flexibility at Parana Sunrise, choosing the amount of fishing and shoot that suits you.
When should you go? Your chances at skies full of dove will be the same no matter when you come. However, the fishing tends to be better during the warm months of Dec-March and it is a wonderful time to escape the winter chill at home. Do take into account that during the summer months of Jan-Mar, temperatures in northern Argentina average in the 90’s with high humidity. In mid-summer, it is common for fishing boats to retreat to the lodge for a couple of hours to avoid the high midday heat. So if you prefer fishing and shooting in moderate temperatures around the upper 70’s, we recommend choosing April.
On a 7 night Dove and Dorado Cast & Blast, most guests will opt for 3 full days shooting and 3 full days fishing. But you decide how you wish to enjoy your days at Parana Sunrise Lodge.
