If you wish to bring your gun to Argentina, you may need previous authorization from your consulate. Upon arrival at the Buenos Aires International Airport, a Fly Fishing Patagonia representative will assist in completing the permits and authorize gun entry. This mandatory service costs $150/gun and ensures efficient and stress free gun entry.
We will email you a form which you’ll return completed 2 months prior to your arrival. Our representatives will then be waiting for you in the RENAR office with your completed gun registration paper work. All you’ll need to do is present your guns and pay the $85-$95/gun entry fee. Our representative will then transfer you to your hotel or domestic airport at costs ranging from $40-$150 depending on the size of the group.
Please note, completion of the paperwork in the Renar office can take 45 minutes to 4 hours and therefore bringing in guns is not recommended for passengers with connecting flights the same day or who have non-gun carrying party members who are not willing to wait in the airport lobby an undetermined amount of time.
