Esquel is small pueblo of about 30,000 inhabitants located 30 minutes outside Alerces National Park. The town's economy is based on agriculture but mostly tourism. Travelers usually stop in Esquel to ride the old fashion narrow track railroad train or visit the Welsh community of Trevelin. The small ski resort also attracts visitors but the dry, harsh environment is not conducive to substantial snow falls. We encourage you to look over the many waters we fish in this region of Central Patagonia and then contact us with your questions. We can put together an itinerary that suits your time, budget and interests. ARGENTINA TROUT FISHING
