TROUT FISHING: Argentina - Junin

Spring Creek Lodge is a Argentina Fishing Lodge located outside the town of Junín de los Andes on the banks of the Chimehuín River, just 6 miles from the Huechulafquen Lake and the famous Chimehuín Boca.

Anglers will be picked up at the San Martin Airport and driven 30 minutes to Spring Creek Lodge. Flights usually get in around mid day allowing for a light lunch before an afternoon of wade fishing the Chimehuín.

The Spring Creek Lodge has 6 cabins with 2 large double rooms in each. The cabins also have ample living areas with Wi Fi, satellite TV, a fireplace, private bathrooms and a private deck overlooking the spring creek and the Chimehuín River.  Meals are served in the dining cabin.

Non-anglers will enjoy horseback riding, a polo lesson, shopping in San Martin or a privately guided excursion to the Lanin National Park.

Fishing
From the Spring Creek Lodge, anglers can access over 7 rivers including the Malleo, Aluminé, Collon Cura, Quilquihue, Curruhue, Filo Hua Hum and the Meliquina. However, since the Chimehuín River is no further than a cast away from the lodge, we will be concentrating most of our time there, fishing from the “boca” to where it enters into the Collon Cura River. Additional fishing options are on the Tromen and Huechulafquen Lake.
