WINE TOURS: Argentina - Mendoza

Between numerous wineries and lodges and all the non-wine related activities, there are multiple ways to create  Mendoza wine tour itineraries. Below are just a couple examples.

Wine Lodge Combo

3 nights at Finca Adalgisa
2 nights at Valle de Uco Lodge
5 nights, 4 days

Day 1
One of our hosts will be meeting you at the Mendoza Airport’s main hall after you have collected your luggage to then escort you to our private vehicle and drive you to Almacèn del Sur Restaurant for lunch and a tour of this organic farm.  After lunch we’ll tour Trapiche Winery. Check into Finca Adalgisa. Dinner at the lodge or we can recommend our favorites restaurant in town.

Day 2
Morning city tour and afternoon winery visits, with private tasting at Vistalba and Benegas wineries.  A private lunch will be at Vistalba.  Return to the lodge to rest.  Evening cooking class and dinner at Chacras de Coria Lodge.  Overnight at Finca Adalgisa.

Day 3
Early check out of Finca Adalgisa. Your host will drive you 1.5 hours south to Uco Valley for a full day country experience at El Puesto Ranch, experiencing a day in the Andes, horseback riding, walking or just relaxing. Between the horseback rides and hikes, enjoy a welcome breakfast with home made pastries and an Argentinean-style barbecue lunch.  At days end, we’ll drive 30 more minutes to the Valley de Uco Lodge.  Check-in, cocktails and dinner.

Day 4
Following breakfast, your host will take you on a full-day wine tour experience at Salentein, Altus and Atamisque wineries.  A wonderful lunch will be had at Salentein.  Overnight and dinner at Valley de Uco Lodge.

Day 5
Check out. Your host will take you on a full day sightseeing, Andean mountain tour, towards the small town of Tupungato and through the “Cordon del Plata” mountain range to the village of Uspallata.  From this point on, you will be on national route 7 that connects Mendoza and Chile and winds through valleys and mountains.  Your journey would come to a final stop at Aconcagua Park, containing the highest peak in the American continent; 22.000 ft.  Lunch will be enjoyed  in the Village of Uspallata or Penitentes ski resort.  We should arrive back in Mendoza around 7:00 pm.  Check back into Finca Adalgisa. Cocktails and dinner.

Day 6
Your host will drive you back to the Mendoza Airport for your flight back home.  Activities for this day can be arranged according to your flight schedule.

Wine Lodge Combo 2

2 nights at Posada Salentein
4 nights at the Chacras de Coria Lodge
6 nights, 5 days

Day 1
After you have collected your luggage, your host will meet you in the Mendoza Airport’s main hall to escort you to our private vehicle and drive you to Zuccardi Winery for lunch and a tour. After lunch we’ll drive 1 hour south to the Uco Valley and check into Posada Salentein. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 2
Your host will take you on a full-day wine tour experience visiting wineries like F&J Lurton, O. Fournier Winery and Finca La Celia Winery,  Lunch will be had ad Finca la Celia Winery.

Day 3
Check out. Your host will take  you to visit Pulenta Estate Winery and then on to Hacienda del Plata Winery for a tour and private lunch.  Afterwards we’ll drive north to Mendoza, have a city tour and then check into Chacras de Coria Lodge.  Relax before dinner at the lodge.

Day 4
Your host will take you on a full day mountain tour, traveling along the sinuous national route 7, passing through small villages such as Uspallata and Potrerillos. We’ll visit ancient cemeteries and alpine restaurants and eventually arrive at Acongaqua National Park before descending back to Mendoza City and returning to Chacras  de Coria Lodge.

Day 5
Your host will take you on a full day wine tour experience, visiting wineries like Achaval-Ferrer Winery, Viña Cobos Winery and Belasco de Baquedano Winery.  Lunch will be served at Belasco de Baquedano. Dinner at the lodge or we can recommend our favorite restaurants in Mendoza.

Day 6
Day in Mendoza visiting it’s 4 museums and pedestrian friendly streets.  Your host can remain with you or you can wander the city by yourselves, meeting your host later at a certain time and place.  Dinner at the lodge or we can recommend our favorites restaurant in Mendoza.

Day 7
Your host will drive you back to the Mendoza Airport for your flight back home.  Activities for this day can be arranged according to your flight schedule.
