WINE TOURS: Argentina - Mendoza

Finca Adalgisa is Mendoza wine lodge and located just 20 minutes from downtown in the quiet suburbs of Chacra de Coria in the Lujan de Cuyo valley.  Finca Adalgisa has the last remaining vineyard and cultivated ground in this historical neighborhood.  In 2001, Graciela Furlotti revitalized the retired vines and family home which were built by her grandparents in the 18^th century.  The original portions of the house still resemble the old home with antique furniture, books, photographs and other heirlooms.

This boutique hosteria has 11 rooms, uniquely decorated to reflect the country lifestyle. Each room is well equipped with double or twin beds, a private bathroom, air-conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar, Wi-fi and a telephone. Some of the rooms at Finca Adalgisa have a terrace, living room, fireplace and kitchenette.

The rooms are divided between three individual building which over look the small 4 acre vineyard, pool and rock walls and elaborate garden. The vineyard is an integral part of the atmosphere at Graciela’s Hosteria.  A breakfast buffet is served with fresh breads, fruits, juices, yogurt and cereals.  Lunches and dinners are served in the main dinning room or upon request, in Finca Adalgisa’s wine cave.
