FFP client sets record at Despedida Lodge
FFP guests David Walker and Dacre Stoker just returned from 2 weeks in Tierra del Fuego fishing the Rio Grande. After one week at Estancia Despedida Lodge they moved up river to Kau Tapen Lodge. They experienced high water levels most of the week at Despedida but conditions improved with the water dropping daily. Both David and Dacre caught several fish in the 5-15 pound range and a few around 18 pounds. The fish of the week was a 27-28lb buck caught by David under the helpful guidance of Tomas Lajous from Despedida. As it turned out, this is the record fish for the lodge so far this year. David and his fish are now a permanent fixture on the “Wall of Fame” at Despedida Lodge.
