Our fishing guests should very comfortable invinting there non-fishing or spouses or companions to accompany them in Esquina, Corrientes. Non-angling guests can enjoy multiple activities at La Pelada Ranch such as the pool, bird watching, horseback rides and hikes.

Bird watchers will enjoy a day with our bilingual guide, Marcelo Gianchinni, who is an avid birder and wildlife painter. He will identify almost all birds and other wildlife you will see. He takes guests on horseback or via car to the many lagoons on the ranch property, which hold capybara, caiman and thousands of birds.

Additional non-fishing options are a lunch and tour in the historic town of Esquina or perhaps an afternoon visit to neighboring ranches to watcha learn about the guachos or cowboys of Corrientes.

Spa services are also easily accessible via a 45 minute drive to the town of La Paz. However, guests who really just want to relax can enjoy a reclining chair by the pool overlooking the Corriente River.

Estancia La Pelada also is the perfect place to learn how to play polo. The ranch owner will happily offer lessons to the novice or advanced player.

For non-fishing guests who enjoy bird hunting, we have exceptional Argentina dove hunts which can be enjoyed all year.
