WINE TOURS: Argentina - Mendoza

Chacras de Coria Lodge is nestled in the heart of Chacras de Coria, the oldest country suburb of Mendoza City and the previous epicenter of Mendoza’s original wine country.  A couple wineries are within walking distance from the lodge and major wine regions such as Lujan de Cuyo, Maipu and La Carrodilla are reached within a short drive.  This Mediterranean-style lodge can accommodate 16 guests in seven suites divided between three buildings.  Six of the suites have private baths, and one unit is a two bedroom/one bath suite with a sitting room for guests who require more space.

Chacras de Coria Lodge used to be a private residence but was sold and remodeled into a lodge.  Apart from it’s rooms, the lodge features a wine bar, living/gathering room, dining room, covered verandahs and a main office.  The grounds are shaded with old growth trees and numerous plants and flowering gardens are laid out across the manicured lawns.  The courtyard holds a large outdoor grill, swimming pool and Jacuzzi and is a favorite place for our guests to gather for barbeques, outdoor cooking classes,  sunbathing and certainly dining.  Dinner is served daily at Chacras de Coria Lodge, but we are happy to recommend restaurants in town as well.
