Sample Itineraries
At Fly Fishing Patagonia, we create one of a kind Argentina hunting packages that are built around our 2 lodges and our multiple sporting opportunities including Argentina duck, dove, pigeon, Perdiz, and big game hunting, and Dorado fishing. This variety allows you to pick your preferred style of accommodations and quarry. Some guests spend a week targeting only one species, while others come and do it all. Every hunting package is unique and the following are examples of some of the more popoular itineraries we do.
Duck, Dove, Pigeon and Perdiz Hunt
6 nights at Estancia Don Joaquin
1 day dove hunting, 1 full day duck hunting,
2 days with a morning duck hunt and afternoon Perdiz hunt,
1 day pigeon hunting
(May 1-Aug 31)
Day 1
Arrival Buenos Aires. Upon request, our representative will meet you in the airport and transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight to Corrientes. Guides will pick you up at the Corrientes Airport and drive you 3 hours to Estancia Don Joaquin. Tour the grounds. Cocktails and dinner.
Day 2
All day high volume dove hunting. Hunters will have the opportunity to shoot approximately 600-1000 shells at passing doves. A barbequed lunch will be served in the fields.
Day 3
All day duck hunting in the Paraná River Delta. After an early breakfast we’ll hunt our 6000 acre property within the Delta. We’ll be prepared to have lunch in the delta just in case some hunters need to hunt into the afternoon to reach their limit.
Day 4
Morning duck hunt on the ranch lagoons and afternoon Perdiz hunting. These ponds are scattered across the property and are only 10-25 minutes from the ranch. After lunch at the lodge, we’ll hunt Perdiz on the ranch with well trained pointers.
Day 5
Decoyed pigeon hunting on a neighboring ranch. These hunts are usually an all day affair with lunch in the field, however, we can always return to the ranch for an afternoon duck or Perdiz hunt.
Day 6
Morning duck hunt on the ranch lagoons or in the Delta and afternoon Perdiz hunting. These lagoons are scattered across the property and are only 10-25 minutes from the ranch. After lunch at the lodge, we’ll hunt Perdiz with well trained pointers.
Day 7
Depart for Corrientes Airport for your departure flight home.

Duck Hunting
5 nights at Estancia La Pelada
4 days duck hunting
(May 1-Aug 31)
Day 1
Arrival Buenos Aires. Upon request, our representative will meet you in the airport and transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight to Corrientes. Guides will pick you up at the Corrientes Airport and drive you 3 hours to lodge. Tour the grounds. Cocktails and dinner.
Day 2-3
All day duck hunting in the Paraná River delta. This day will start with an early breakfast and drive and boat ride to our 6000 acre property within the delta. We’ll be prepared to have lunch in the delta just in case hunters need to hunt the afternoon to reach their limit.
Day 4-5
Morning duck hunt on the ranch lagoons. These ponds are scattered across the property and are only 10-25 minutes from the ranch. Lunch back at the lodge.
Day 6
Depart for Corrientes Airport for your departure flight home.

Dorado Fishing and Dove Hunting
6 nights at Estancia Don Joaquin
3 days dove hunting, 2 days dorado fishing
(Jan 1-Nov 1)
Day 1
Arrival Buenos Aires. Upon request, our representative will meet you in the airport and transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight to Corrientes. Guides will pick you up at the Corrientes Airport and drive you 3 hours to the lodge. Tour the grounds. Cocktails and dinner.
Day 2-4
All day high volume dove hunt. Hunters will have the opportunity to shoot approximately 600-1000 shells at passing doves. A barbequed lunch will be served in the fields.
Day 5-6
Fish for Golden Dorado in the delta or on the Corriente and Paraná Rivers. The area will depend on water levels and fishing conditions. We’ll be casting fly rods or casting rods from 16-20ft boats. Sometimes we’ll be wading the sandy beaches.
Day 7
Depart for Corrientes Airport for your departure flight home.

Water Buffalo, Brocket Deer, Duck, and Dove Hunt, & Dorado Fishing
7 nights at Estancia La Pelada
1 day Buffalo hunting, 1 day Brocket Deer hunting,
2 days duck hunting, 1 day Dorado fishing, 1 day dove/pigeon huntin
(May 1-Aug 31)
Day 1
Arrival Buenos Aires. Upon request, our representative will meet you in the airport and transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight to Corrientes. Guides will pick you up at the Corrientes Airport and drive you 3 hours to lodge. Tour the grounds. Cocktails and dinner.
Day 2
Water Buffalo Hunt. These are fair chase, spot and stalk hunts with shots at 40 to 150 yards. Drive times to these properties can range from 15-45 minutes.
Day 3
Brocket Deer Hunt. These are fair chase, spot and stalk hunts with shots at 40 to 200 yards. Drive times to these properties can range from 15-45 minutes.
Day 4
If a buffalo or Brocket Deer have not been taken the previous days, we’ll continue the hunt. Otherwise, we will have a morning and evening duck hunt on the ranches lagoons. These ponds are scattered across the property and are only 10-25 minutes from the ranch. We’ll return to the lodge for lunch.
Day 5
All day duck hunting in the Paraná River delta. This day will start with an early breakfast and drive and boat ride to our 6000 acre property within the delta. We’ll be prepared to have lunch in the delta just in case some hunters need to hunt into the afternoon to reach their limit.
