WING SHOOTING: Argentina - Esquina
Dove Hunting
Throughout the year, we offer high volume Argentina dove hunting and decoyed pigeon shooting. There are literally millions of dove in Esquina, Argentina and hunters can shoot over 1000 shells in a single day. Some call it hunting but we see it as pure dove shooting and doing the farmers a favor. Farmers welcome our guests to hunt these “pests” in their fields in a futile attempt to put a dent in the dove population.
Our Argentina dove hunting is done over diverse croplands and we give the option to hunt a number of different fields everyday. At times we’ll have clouds of birds but mostly we have consistent pods of 3 to 10 birds, all day. Dove hunting in Argentina can be taxing for unpracticed gunners. We recommend bringing a 20 ga shotgun and shooting clay pigeons before you arrive.
Argentina Pigeon Hunting
Our decoyed pigeon shoots are one of the most memorable hunts our guests have ever been on. We place pigeon decoys among sorghum or other crops and call in the birds. It’s just like duck hunting but without the water. This is an exciting afternoon activity after a morning dove hunt and a must for any duck hunter.
Typically a dove and pigeon shoot in Esquina comes with a traditional Argentine asado or barbeque out in the field. S hooters will enjoy a resting chair, refreshments and have their birds collected.
